Dusty Puddles Dachshund Rescue (Lubbock, TX)
Dusty Puddles Dachshund Rescue (DPDR) is a 501(c3) breed-specific Texas non-profit dachshund rescue that was founded in June of 2005.
Their ultimate goal is to save as many dachshunds as possible.
They do everything they can to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome as many little furry friends as possible.

The Promised Land Dachshund Sanctuary (Gardendale, TX)
The Promised Land Dachshund Sanctuary (PLDS) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that focuses on senior and special-needs rescue.
In July of 2001, this charity began rescuing aging and special-needs dachshunds.
Over the past fifteen years, PLDS has rescued over 250 dogs and placed over 150 into permanent homes.
At the moment, the sanctuary is home to 31 dogs.

Dachshund Rescue of Houston (DRoH) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in the heart of Texas dedicated to the health, welfare, and happiness of dachshunds.

Since its inception in 2003, DRoH has rescued, rehabilitated, and placed between 100 and 200 dachshunds each year.

Dachshund Lovers of Texas Rescue (DLTR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, foster-based, no-kill dachshund rescue organization located in Dallas, Texas.
Once accepted into their program, the dogs are cared for in foster homes until they find a suitable forever home.

Central Texas Dachshund Rescue (Humble, TX)
CTDR (Central Texas Dachshund Rescue) was established in September of 2000.
Since then, its membership has increased year after year, allowing more foster families and volunteers to help dachshund owners find loving, forever homes for their dogs.
Despite their name, they are no longer limited to Central Texas and have members and volunteers from around the state.
The majority of CTDR dogs come from Texas animal shelters where they are about to be euthanized.
If a suitable foster home is available, this rescue will accept animals from the wider population.
