Golden Retrievers in Need Rescue Service (Cleveland, OH)
Golden Retrievers in Need Rescue Service (GRIN) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers, with over 500 active members.
They serve northeastern and central Ohio, western Pennsylvania, western New York, and many rural communities that do not have a local golden retriever rescue.
They receive goldens from a variety of sources, including shelters, pounds, and owner surrenders.
GRIN is also a part of a global rescue operation to transport abandoned goldens from Turkey to the United States.
Each year, an unpaid, very active Board of Trustees is elected and is in charge of several teams inside our company.
Their vital IFA team handles each GRIN Golden’s admission, foster care, and adoption.
They collaborate with local veterinarians to ensure that every dog receives the required medical care, including spaying or neutering before they’re matched with a wonderful forever home.
